A Popular Diet Using Cookies - The Real Truth

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

Ok let’s get right to it!

The reason you lose weight on the Cookie diet has more to do with what else you DON’T eat rather than DR Segals magic cookies.

When you follow the diet as intended you take in a whopping 800 calories a day. When you consider the average adult is burning 2000- 2500 calories a day with no exercise at all you can’t help but to lose weight. Just do the math!

Basically the Cookie Diet works like this. You eat ONE meal daily consisting of 6 ounces of lean protein - chicken, turkey, fish or seafood only - and one cup of vegetables, that’s it.

If you get hungry before or after your meal, which you no doubt will, you can eat up to six diet cookies throughout the day. These cookies are reported to have an appetite suppressant property that curbs hunger pangs. Also you will want to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, which should give you a fuller feeling. What about the taste of the cookies? Ho hum. Many report it as being a rather bland but munchable snack.

Who should attempt this diet?

Probably those that are looking to shed some weight fast and are also in good health. The cookie diet is pretty radical and experts agree it’s not a good long-term solution to maintaining a healthy weigh. There just isn’t enough balance and keeping up with the cookie eating may get old, despite their alleged appetite suppressant properties.

Does the diet work?

Yes in the short term you will no doubt lose weight but at what cost?

The Cookie Diet lacks nutrition and fiber; many also report an overall lack of energy if you consistently stay with the diet. Once you go off the diet you’ll probably gain back the weight.

As a long-term diet solution the Cookie Diet just won’t cut it just like all the other starvation diets out there.

Why not try a low carb, high protein diet that conforms to a sane lifestyle and also allows you to EAT real FOOD, without counting calories or following crazy meal planning. If your willing to achieve moderately quick, long term, weight loss results without being on high alert ALL THE TIME visit the link below.

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

The wealthiest nation in the world and the most technological advanced nation can be said to be the United States of America. Yet this country is also the one in the world which has one of the largest number of obese people. This is due to the kind of lifestyle adopted by the people of this country.

Because obesity is associated with an person’s image, it is not a situation anyone would like to be in at all. Here in this article, You will find out about an entirely new diet formula can helped thousand to lose weight.

The diet I want to tell you about is the Cookie diet. For your information, Dr. Sanford Siegal of Miami has invented the Cookie diet, and in order to follow this diet plan, you need to eat cookies every day! Now don’t take it as if you can eat sugary cookies from your local shop and still lose weight; it cannot happen like that, can it?

The cookies used in Dr. Siegal’s diet plan are unique; instead of loading your body with loads of empty calories, these cookies (which are specially created by the doctor himself) provide your body with all the necessary nutrition while helping you curb hunger at the same time. Do not think that these cookies are bitter pills because they are very tasty to say the least.

Dr. Siegal invented this diet plan for a reason - he knows that the number one reason why people fail to lose weight is their inability to control hunger. While a number of appetite suppressants are available in the market, many of them come with harmful side effects. There are a few good ones too but most people are either unaware of them or too wary to use any sort of appetite suppressant! For these people, cookie diet offers an attractive option.

The cookie diet plan is a very simple plan to follow. What is required of you is just to consume 6 cookies daily and followed that up with a dinner of vegetables and chicken. It is by far the simplest and most practical diet that exist today for those who are anxious to lose weight. You do not have to worry about side effects as these cookies do not have any caffeine in them at all. They just contain amino acids which are already naturally found in our foods.

Instead of relying on drugs to lose weight, What Dr Siegal did was to present an alternative way to lose weight based on compounds that are naturally existing in our foods. And because of that, this diet plan has no side effects and is highly recommended.

Cookie Diet Met With Mixed Sentiments

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

Addressing a weight problem has been a major preoccupation of many weight-conscious individuals for eons. There have been many fad diets that have emerged in recent years, most of them failing to steer people away from perilous obesity, thereby raising doubts on new ones.

In truth, not all diets work the same way for every individual. While choosing the right foods and the right consumption can keep both metabolism and energy levels steadily elevated, helping people manage their weight, there are still extraneous factors like an ailment, prolonged stress, or even sleep deprivation that may get in the way of a promising weight loss regimen. It is precisely because of all these other elements that dieters are keenly advised to always consult qualified medical practitioners to rule out factors preventing weight loss.

One obesity expert who has grappled with countless cases of overweight/obese individuals who have reached extreme frustration in shedding excess weight is Dr. Sanford Siegal of Miami, Florida. His revolutionary Cookie Diet has been a boon to many dieters who somehow have managed to keep their cool, maintain focus and avoid cravings for calorie-laden foods - through a low carb plan. At the core of Dr. Siegal’s low carb diet plan is a specially formulated cookie engineered to stave off hunger.

All that a dieter must do is take six cookies (which is made of oats, rice, whole wheat flour and bran) along with a sensible meal consisting of lean meat and vegetable serving) daily to reach an estimated 800 calories per day. The intake of at least eight glasses of liquids, coffee and tea, and dietary supplements, plus non-strenuous exercise, are allowed with Dr. Siegal’s cookie diet. One of the major reasons consumers have balked at the Cookie Diet is that it falls short of the ideal minimum daily calorie requirements for the average adult. Considering that many of us grew up with the ingrained thought that we should have a balanced diet to keep the body functioning well (and that the right portions and right mix of ingredients, along with strategic timing of meals, can provide all-day energy to avoid any physical and mental topsy-turvy).

When Dr. Siegal’s original idea of the Cookie Diet was first broached to a quite eager and predominantly weight-conscious public, it was met with mixed sentiments ranging from one of incredulity to excitement, glee and relief.Because its special protein mixture is the product of research and experimentation by a highly qualified and esteemed doctor, many people have embraced and benefited from the physician-supervised weight loss approach. Being far less cumbersome than traditional dietary plans, Dr. Siegal’s cookie diet gained the attention and satisfaction of many harried dieters. One consumer even rates the cookies, which Dr. Siegal himself has acknowledged as not scoring high in taste, as a “reasonably good” weight loss option.

There are some consumers, though, who give the cookie diet a thumbs-down because they would rather fill up on fresh stuff. Upon closer look, Dr. Siegal’s cookie diet is actually a combination of amino acids and fiber designed to make individuals feel satiated with just a minimum of calories consumed. While the cookie flavors are enticing enough (oatmeal raisin, chocolate, banana, coconut and blueberry) and a variation exists in the form of a refreshing diet shake (equivalent to two cookies), some people simply do not want to be deprived of the regular meal they have grown accustomed to. Many other consumers, however, have expressed that they found the cookie diet helpful in their weight loss agenda.

Weight Loss With the Cookie Diet - Is This Diet For You?

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

I’m sure at some point you have heard of the Cookie Diet. You know, the one where you eat nothing all day but Cookies? I guess the main question is how well does it work, and how healthy is it to be eating these all day? I understand the name can throw you off a bit, but there is actually a lot more choices of food on the plan including different shakes and muffins. If your thinking about trying this fad, there are a couple things you will want to keep in mind before starting.

1. You get to eat a normal balance dinner.

On top of the provided foods of the diet, you also are supposed to eat a well balanced meal in the evenings. This can include a ton of stuff including chicken breast, leafy greens, and vegetables. So if you were thinking that you would get sick of all the same foods, you actually do have more options and it’s not THAT bad.

2. It promotes quick weight loss, but may not be the best choice.

The simple fact of this diet is that you are restricted from a ton of calories. A normal day can be less than 1000 calories, which can sometimes be unbearable if you are used to a normal 2,000 or so. This is one of the few drawbacks I have seen with this routine. I believe that there is not enough calories to keep your body from entering into a starvation mode.

3. You cannot work out.

The weight loss experts suggest that you don’t work out during the beginning phases. They think that because of the small amount of caloric intake, it’s very difficult to maintain enough energy throughout the day if you include exercising. I’m not a huge fan of this idea.

In my humble opinion, this plan would work great for only a small percentage of people that weren’t able to lose any weight any other way. My recommendation is to follow other notable diets that may provide a more suitable routine for the duration of the plan.

If you were thinking about checking out this fad, you may want to weigh out all the reasons good and bad before making a decision.

Dr Siegel’s Oatmeal Cookie Diet - My Personal Review and Experiences

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

At my age of 45, I needed a weight-loss program that was simple and easy to follow, that was medically proven and successful and provided fast and saved a weight-loss.

So I did my research online and discovered Dr. Siegel’s cookie diet was simple to follow, very easy and not complicated, the weight-loss was fast and the program was medically proven. As Dr. Siegel has been perfecting this program since 1975. Also, I took comfort in the fact that Dr. Siegel is a Medical Doctor and not some overnight health and weight-loss guru, who has no medical training at all.

So, I placed my order, and when the program arrived. I started up the next day.

It was so simple and easy to follow. I was able to eat six of these specially formulated cookies a day and even drank tasty shakes throughout the day. And then at the end of the day. I was able to enjoy a great meal of any type of meat chicken or fish and a whole bunch of vegetables. The diet was super simple, and the cookies actually satisfied my hunger and even eliminated the cravings I usually have for sweets and stuff like that.

Week one went by, and I lost 5 pounds. I lost another 5 pounds at week two. I lost another 4 pounds at week three and one week by a lost six more pounds. So when four weeks or lost a total of 20 pounds.

At the end of the eight weeks I actually lost a total of 38 pounds. Not only was I able to fit in my new tuxedo but it was actually a little bit loose on me.

So now. It’s been seven weeks after the wedding, and I still maintain my weight loss with just a few cookies and shakes today, and eating sensible regular meals.

All in all a very happy and satisfied with my experience with Dr. Siegel’s cookie diet.

Soypal Cookie Diet - Meal Replacement Diet That Allows You to Eat Cookies While Losing Weight

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

Alternative meals for weight loss have been replacing regular meals lately. Like all other meal replacement diets, Soypal Cookie Diet is a method that promises weight loss by ingesting Soypal cookies regularly.

Soypal cookies are made from okara, a type of soy pulp that can trigger weight loss by keeping hunger at bay, thanks to its stomach-expanding fiber that keeps the dieter feeling full. Apart from being dense with fiber, this product is also loaded with vitamins, minerals (such as iron, calcium, and potassium), protein, carbohydrates, and fats–making it a complete meal. And as such, it is meant to replace one entire meal, preferably the largest meal of the day. The bonus? You save hundreds of calories by relying on these cookies for one meal, as a bag of Soypal only contains 150 calories. The downside? One bag only contains 7 cookies.

To help the fibers expand, one has to consume at least 2 glasses of fluids such as water, green tea, soymilk, fresh juice, and vegetable juice.

Soypal Cookie Diet may or may not be combined with other diet programs. According to anecdotes of users, this is a good stand-alone losing weight method that is not too restricted yet not lacking in good results.

There are a few downsides to this famous Japanese weight loss treat though. For one thing, the cookies’ main ingredient is soy, to which many people may prove quite allergic. Nonetheless, soy is a very healthy protein that actually has commendable properties to its name. Second, this diet lacks a definite program for weight loss. Apart from the fact that the Soypal product must replace lunch or dinner, the program does not outline other things that go along with it such as exercise and diet regimens. Third, it is quite expensive as it is presumably outsourced straight from Japan.

Weight Loss - The Cookie Diet Plan

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

When people talk about the cookie diet plan, there are usually two types of reactions. One reaction is to say “Wow, that’s exciting! I’d love to eat cookies and lose weight!” and the other one is, “Oh yea that’s a nice fantasy…eat cookies and lose weight, ha ha..” or something to that effect. In my personal opinion the cookie diet plan is not a name that does this program justice because it sounds silly when in fact, it’s not silly at all.

It is an extremely smart and logical way to lose weight. The way it works is like this, everybody knows that it takes a low calorie diet to successfully lose weight. (Or, you can do enough exercise that will offset your calorie intake and create a negative calorie deficiency every week but that is MUCH more difficult to do.) However, a low calorie diet is hard to keep up with due to hunger pains which is something nobody should have to go through. When you eat very little calories you can get hungry again very quickly. Most foods that suppress your hunger are fatty and high in calories so they won’t help you lose weight at all.

What the Doctor who invented the cookie diet plan did was create a food that is LOW in calories, but also suppresses your hunger naturally using amino acids and food proteins. He is one of the only people to ever develop a low calorie food that is a natural hunger suppressant. Why more people haven’t done it, I have no idea. It’s simple, logical and scientific.

Basically, you eat 7 cookies a day which is about 500 calories and then a nutritious dinner consisting of lean meat and a green vegetable which is about 300. This gives you an 800 calorie/day diet and would normally be near impossible if it weren’t for the hunger suppressing agents in the cookie. I would recommend the cookie diet plan to anyone who is looking to lose weight the healthy way.

Can You Lose Weight With a Cookie Diet?

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

A cookie diet is one of the more poplar diet plans that have been receiving numerous accolades around the world. This diet plan aims to control one’s appetite through the use of cookies instead of the more conventional low-calorie diet meals. This method had been proven very effective to people who wants to attain weight loss because the cookies used in this particular plan has very minimal calorie. The diet is said to be very effective in reducing weight for an average of fifteen pounds per month.

The main proponent of the cookie diet is Dr. Sanford Siegal and he devised it for his patients at the southern part of Florida way back in 1975. The diet works by consuming six cookies a day with just one main meal allowed. The only food items that you are allowed to eat for the main meal is fish, turkey, chicken (without the skin), and seafood; and they must not exceed six ounces.

However, it must be noted that you must have the approval of your dietician before you attempt to try this plan because most nutritionists question the healthiness of this plan. Most critics point out that this diet has a total calorie count that is way below the recommended amount of calorie that should be consumed in a daily basis. But Dr. Siegal defended his plan saying that there have been no reported incidents that his patients are having problems with their safety.

There is till another cookie diet that was developed by Dr. Siegal but this time it was with the help of Dr. Sasson Moulavi. The concept with the previous diet plan is pretty much the same but the only difference is that it now pays more attention in having a good outlook towards food, exercise, supplements, and even vitamin injections. And since this particular diet plan is more aggressive than the former, it is necessary that you seek medical consultation first.

It must be remembered that a cookie diet is not for everyone especially if you have a body type that needs more calorie intake. If your type of work includes more body movements and energy, you also need lots of calorie so that you will not pass out. And even if your dietician says that it is OK for you to have this type of diet, you have to realize that this is only for short term.

In the end, it all boils down to whether or not a cookie diet will be effective enough for weight loss but nutritious enough to meet your body’s needs.

The Amazing Smart For Life Cookie Diet

Cookie Diet Blog No Comments »

The Smart for Life Cookie Diet has provided tremendous weight loss success for thousands of people around the world and the craze looks set to break some amazing records along the way.

It was created by Dr. Sasson Moulavi. Started in the mid-seventies when we saw that people were failing all too often when trying to lose weight due to a variety of factors. He embarked on research to find a way for people to control their hunger throughout the day and keep a stable metabolism at all times.

Dr. Sasson Moulavi, M.D. started working in an emergency room soon after graduating from Medical School and he patented the Smart For Life Cookie Diet.

Dr. Sass found that weight loss can be promoted easily for most people who suffered with hypothyroidism, a condition thought to cause trouble with the thyroid glands. This was later discovered to be the main cause for the slowdown of a person’s metabolism and hence the increase in weight as a result in some individuals.

Dr. Sass fashioned a weight loss program that consists of eating up to six cookies a day which is designed to curb hunger pangs that cause people to overeat putting on excess weight. The person is also required to eat one small meal per day of lean meat proteins and vegetables to get a full array of vitamins and minerals required to assist in weight loss regime.

The cookie diet cookies have 90 calories per 24 gram cookie and contain amounts of proteins and amino acids to assist with weight loss. So 6 cookies a day equals a total of only 540 calories (not including the light meal suggested) and limits dramatically the chances of eating too many calories. To add to all this Dr. Sass has produced a tasty group of shakes and soups using the same dietary program of proteins and amino acids to help restrain hunger.

If you also add an exercise program to the cookie diet consisting of aerobic activities and weight bearing exercises for at least 20 minutes everyday you can expect to very quickly and seamlessly lose the excess weight you have struggled to remove with fad diets in the past.

My research has located many individuals you have been very successful in losing 60 or 70 lbs or even more in some cases over a sustained period on the cookie diet program. Overall I fully recommend Dr Sass’s cookie diet to anyone looking for an inexpensive approach to weight loss that does not require the use of pills, potions and messy products.

Even better you can find all the latest discounts at Dr Sass’s site to make great savings when purchasing the Smart for Life Cookie Diet.
