I’ve decided to cut out meat, fish, and poultry from my diet, along with inorganically produced animal products. (meaning, i’ll only eat eggs from the neighbor’s hen). Why I decided to become a vegetarian is irrelevant from the main issue (so please, no lame comments like "try eating some red meat for once!!).

I’ve been vegetarian for about two weeks now. Chemically, I feel great–I’m an athlete, and have been obsessive about making sure I’m getting all of the protein and vitamins that I need. In fact…I feel like I’m eating a lot healthier! Heres an example of what I would eat for say, 3 days:

DAY 1:

Breakfast: Oatmeal, apples, granola (with raisins, honey, sunflower seeds)

Lunch: 2 Chick’n patties, carrots, a banana, vegan cookie, hummus, vegetable root chips

Dinner: Tofu stir fry with red bell peppers, mushrooms, and cucumber

Snacks: vegan cookies, and a mixture of walnuts, cashews, and almonds, also avacadoes, soy milk and kashi cereal

DAY 2:

Breakfast: oatmeal, strawberries, granola, soy milk

Lunch: Burrito with pinto beans, salsa, avacado

Dinner: Boca burger with tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms, and french fries. Orzo on the side

I also take a vitamin B and an iron vitamin every day, and plan on getting a protein drink that my vegetarian track coach has been drinking for the past few years, and is very fond of.

thanks so much! :]
omg…lol. I definitely didnt mean to type "god". I meant to type "good"
