Help! Baby turned into a cookie junkie by family members over the holidays!?

My 15 month old son has been introduced to the wonderful world of sweets this Christmas season and now won’t eat ‘regular’ food! He’ll point at the cookie jar or bags of candy and goodies left over from the holidays, and say ‘mm mm mm!’ Then when I offer him something from his regular diet like a veggie, fruit, or bread, he pushes it away. My 4 year old never did this….what do I do? I can’t let the little guy starve!

Oh … he won’t starve!
Yeah, holidays (and grandparents!) can really turn a little kid into a food tyrant. I know I had to "reprogram" mine after every trip to grandma’s.
Your son may try to outplay you and outlast you, and there will be a few tantrums, I promise, but … if you put all the "goodies" out of sight (or just get rid of them), he’ll pretty quickly realize that if he doesn’t eat that carrot, he’s not getting anything else in its place … and eventually he’ll be happy to "settle" for his previous snacks.
