How can I change my diet to promote weight loss?
Cookie Diet December 16th, 2009
Okay, I want to lose 5-10 pounds by January, for my school semi-formal. I’m 140 lbs now, and 120 is my summer goal, so I think 135 is a good winter goal.
Anyways, I’m going to be starting a work-out plan after tomorrow, so I want to modify my diet too.
This is a normal day for me (food-wise):
Breakfast:
Usually a small bowl of cereal, cereal bar or bag of Craisins
Lunch:
None
After-School Snack:
Usually like, a cookie or two and a bag of chips
Dinner:
A pretty normal portion of whatever crap my mom makes.
I know the after-school snacks are unhealthy, but skipping lunch and just eating that has led me to lose a pound or so.
ANYWAYS, that’s usually what I eat. What can I do to make it more weight-loss helping? (Huh?
)
And don’t say stuff like "Eat fruit!" Because fruit’s hella expensive (Hella? Really?) and it’s usually gone a week after we buy it. We can’t buy more because my mom only gets 6 in food stamps. ![]()
So, thanks guys for your help! I really want to lose weight so you’re a big help!

OK, so cut the after school snack down to a bag of chips, no cookies. And add in a lunch. Just a sandwich or something, because if you don’t eat lunch you are inclined to eat more after school and at dinner.
