How can I find junk food unappealing?
Cookie Diet October 11th, 2009
I’m trying to go on a no junkfood diet (ice cream, cookies, ect.), but I have a huge sweet tooth. How can I look at junk food and not want to eat it? How can I find it unappealing?

My New Year’s Resolution was the same as the majority of people – to get in shape. I knew it wouldn’t be easy but I’ve signed up at a gym and workout 5 or 6 days a week. Staying away from junk food is of course the hardest part but every time I get a craving I just think about how hard I’ve been working to get in shape and how that’d just make me back track. When I work out, the machines have the calorie feature so it can approximate how many calories you’re burning off so I try to think about "if I eat this candy bar/cookie/bowl of ice cream/whatever sweet, it will cancel out my workout from earlier" and it works 9 out of 10 times [can't be perfect, LOL].
Sundays are my cheat days.. I have a small healthy breakfast, eat whatever I want for lunch and a snack, and then have something small and somewhat healthy for dinner. That way I don’t feel like I’m starving myself or cutting everything good out of my meals.
