How can I lose weight?
Cookie Diet Tips June 14th, 2009My metabolism is very slow… I mean, if I eat more than a few cookies and/or a piece of cake, my as$ jiggles for a week.
I went from thin/athletic to chubby to average, and now I'm average/border-line chubby.
I don't want to lose massive weight (because I'm not fat) only 5lbs or so…
Also, I'm not a fan of dieting pills and things of the such; they interact with my allergy medications and inhaler.
Do you think just jogging, push-ups and crunches will do the trick? Or is there something else?

It's very difficult to determine; because, I don't know your body type, smoker or non-smoker, and have you ever worked out before. The trick to losing weight at an age where your metabolism has slowed is to:
A) Burn more than you take in
B) Don't take so much in ( This does not work for me)
C) Burn so much that you can eat what you want
As far as jogging I'm going to assume that you have done this before, but not for a while-
Find a track or neighborhood block w/ some grass at the loop point, where the circle meets, and run/ jog once around and get down and do some crunches say fifteen.
Walk a lap and do some push-ups say fifteen
Keep running, crunches, walking, push-ups for 4 to 8 laps skip a day and do it again!!
I hope that I was some help
