How can you motivate yourself to eat healthier?
Cookie Diet Tips July 8th, 2009well, i’m 13 almost 14.
i’m 5′ 1" and i weigh 120 pounds.
i used to be overly self conscious about my body thinking i was really fat.
i do have some extra stomach & thigh poundage i want to get rid of though, and i need to be motivated to eat better.
i do exercise regularly, but the thing that prevents me from losing any weight is my sweet tooth.
i eat a mostly only whole grains, a lot of fruit, some veggies, but the junk food (only junk food i eat would be like cookies, ice cream) overwhelms it.
help?
(exercise- walk on the eliptical for 30 minutes a few times a week, and i play volleyball)

for me, the harder i work, the more i don’t want to eat. when i am breathless and tired and wanting to stop, i think how i will never put another fattening thing in my mouth, lol. i really have to fight for every calorie i consume because i have no natural metabolism due to the fact that i don’t have a thyroid. i do take a synthetic one, but it is not the same. i will not eat after 4pm and think about every single thing that i eat at all times. i do as much cardio as i am allowed, which is an hour a day. trust me, that will motivate you, but i would never wish that on anyone.
but you could do a little extra cardio and get away with having your junk food, maybe get the fat free version of it. jello fat free pudding is really good if you have a sweet tooth, get the fat free whipped cream to go with it.
it sounds like you are doing the right thing and you are conscious of it, that is what counts, keep it up.
