is it just me or is healthy food and weight loss over rated?
Cookie Diet July 14th, 2009Honestly people say so much oh to loose weight you must eat salad and fruits…
I do not agree. I lost 14 pounds eating the things i loved.. just ate less. I ate cookies fast food anything i wanted. i just did not stuff myself.
And it was less pressure pigging out because i was not deprieved of the foods i loved. I am 5’5 and i went from 128 pounds to 114 pounds in a short period of time and i love it!!
Thank you for visiting our Cookie Diet website today. We hope you join the program and start losing weight.
Healthy food is not over-rated, by any means. Weight loss is primarily because you are eating fewer calories than you are using, but don’t fool yourself that it doesn’t matter where those calories come from because it does. Your body still needs a certain amount of vitamins and minerals to function, and if you don’t provide them- no matter what you weigh you will be malnourished and have health problems. There is a difference between what 1200 calories of Oreos provide and what 1200 calories of a well balanced diet provides. However, for those folks who need to lose weight, it is more sensible and more productive in the long run to simply reduce amounts of what they eat than to eliminate entire classes of foods. As you noticed, you feel deprived and tend to binge out. There are really no forbidden foods, only foods to eat less of less often than others. But yes, you do still have to keep an eye on what goes in your mouth regardless. Junk in the tank is still junk. Poor nutrition will have health consequences just as serious as those from being overweight. You will end up with osteoporosis eventually if your diet is low in calcium, even if you are not overweight. You can still die of cardiovascular disease too, if you clog up the pipes with a lot of fats, even if you are skinny as can be. So yes, the nutrition still counts.
