What foods do I need to remove from my diet to lose weight quicker?
Cookie Diet February 10th, 2010I work out hard 3 times a week, and light about 2 days a week.
Now it has only been for two weeks now, but I want to start seeing results soon, so can someone please suggest foods I need to cut from my diet.
Typically I eat cereal like Special K or Mini Wheats for breakfast. Sandwich or salade for lunch. Cheats maybe sushi or a burrito. Dinner 1/2 cup rice, veggie and beef or chicken. Dinner cheats like 1/2 of a small KFC meal and McD’s snack wraps. I also drink water, teas and hot coco. For sweets I have 1 McD’s apple pie or a small cookie but just one. For snacks I have yogurt or one bowl of cereal
Can someone please tell me where I am messing myself up? Am I eating too much or too little? Should I completely cut carbs?

Cut back on carbs. Sugar and starches will get you. For quicker weight loss eat eggs for breakfast, chicken (not breaded KFC) and a salad for lunch, and your dinner looks fine just don’t snack after 6 pm. Apples not apple pie!!! Drinking water is good! Remember portion size for meats is about the size of your palm and portion size for veggies/fruits is about what you can hold in 2 hands. The South Beach Diet is pretty good if you are looking for fast results. The only problem is that without carbs your energy level drops and if you add carbs back in too fast you will gain all your weight back.
