With my first two children I piled on six stone. What’s the best way to prevent weight gain during pregnancy?
Cookie Diet December 31st, 2008
I piled on six stone and it took a number of years a lot of hard work and tears and reconstructive surgery to get back to some normality. Does anyone know of any good ideas to prevent unneccesary weight gain during pregnancy. Yes I know you have to put some weight on! Someone suggested weight watchers who are able to create a special plan to follow. I'm not pregnant, just thinking ahead!
Thank you for visiting our Cookie Diet website today. We hope you join the program and start losing weight.
Get in the best possible shape you can pre pregnancy and start an exercise routine. It will make it easier to keep up with during pregnancy. I did prenatal water aerobics and it really helped keep me toned in all areas (minus the belly of course). I would avoid weight watchers as it is not specifically designed to give you the nutrients and food groups one needs during pregnancy. In "What to Expect when you are Expecting" there is a pregnancy diet. The things are very healthy and tasty and there are lots of good variations and examples in the book.
Good luck and you are smart to think ahead!
